What is PAE and How Does it Work?
PAE is a non-surgical, image-guided procedure performed by our board-certified interventional radiologists. Using a pinhole incision in the wrist or groin, we navigate tiny catheters into the arteries supplying your prostate. Microscopic beads are released to reduce blood flow, shrinking the prostate and relieving pressure on the urethra.
