Alan J. Hise, M.D.

I specialize in interventional oncology, management of venous disease, spinal augmentation and prostate artery embolization.

I became an interventional radiologist to offer minimally invasive procedures to a wide range of patients. I enjoy the opportunity to treat patients of all ages and genders, as well as problems involving nearly all organ systems and Colorado Advanced Endovascular offers a full spectrum of outpatient interventional radiology procedures, with an emphasis on vascular disease, interventional oncology, musculoskeletal interventions and embolization.

At our partner hospital, I was part of the expert team that performed a life-saving, minimally invasive procedure to treat a complex blood clot, demonstrating my commitment to advanced, patient-centered care. Additionally, I gave an interview to 9 News, Healthy Colorado discussing interventional radiology and treating clots. You can watch it at https://www.9news.com/video/entertainment/television/programs/colorado-and-company/73-6557745a-f82e-4a8e-a434-b5fd956cd9f9#.

Beyond Radiology:
Outside of work, I enjoy skiing, cycling, mountain biking, and hiking. My favorite way to spend the day is outdoors with my family. I’ve visited over a dozen national parks and hope to eventually see them all!
Achievements/Awards:
I served as a chief resident in training and graduated with honors from medical school at Texas A&M, including membership in national honorary society alpha omega alpha.
