Interventional radiology is special because you work with multiple body systems. Additionally, it provides diagnostic and therapeutic benefits to patients using different imaging modalities and methods, which can really foster some creative treatment solutions. I love that many of the procedures we perform are also immediately therapeutic, which is encouraging to see a patient have instantaneous improvement in their symptoms.
From a physician assistant’s perspective, I hope our scope of practice continues to grow as we work alongside our physicians to provide comprehensive care to each one of our patients at Colorado Advanced Endovascular.
