Kurt W. Husum, M.D.

I specialize in DVT and pulmonary embolism interventions, trauma embolization, percutaneous tumor ablation, vascular access, and renal interventions.

I was drawn to interventional radiology because it combines advanced imaging, cutting edge technology and minimally invasive procedures to improve people’s lives.

Colorado Advanced Endovascular is an outpatient center that provides exceptional interventional radiology services to our patients. Our goal is to improve access to interventional services for patients in Denver and its surrounding communities.

Beyond Radiology:

Outside of work, my hobbies include whitewater rafting, camping, fishing, and gardening with my wife and our 4 kids.

Achievements/Awards:

I am the section head of interventional radiology for Colorado Imaging Associates.
